Middleton Rangers Disability Football

Middleton Rangers now provide football coaching sessions aimed at boys and girls of Darlington with special needs and/or disabilities. The session is for children who are ambulant disabled including children who use frames. The Service isn’t suitable for Blind or Wheelchair, as these disabilities have a specialist form of football that we don’t cater for.

The service is aim at Children from 6 - 16 years old, we currently run 2 sessions, The first sessions is from 10am - 11am every Saturday Morning for 11 year olds - 16 year olds, there is a second session at 11am - 12pm, for 6 - 11 year olds. All sessions are now INDOOR at Darlington College Sports Centre, situated behind the main college build near 'The Forge' University Building. There is ample free parking for all.

Every effort is made to ensure the child are safe throughout, however parents/carers involvement is activity encouraged as the sessions have emphasis on fun and will aim to coach the children the FUNdamentals of football.

Middleton Rangers are a Chartered Standard Club that has junior football teams at all levels from Mini Rangers to Under 16s, as well as Women’s football teams and Adult Football Teams.

The only way to know whether the sessions are suitable for your child is to bring them along and try it.
